My new year started and I missed it. A fitting close to 2006, I think. My year had been going down-hill for sometime and that closed it beautifully.
Don’t get me wrong, I was sad to see 2006 go. I made so many incredible memories this year; my Sweet Sixteen, Lumos, Hairspray, Guess What, Homecoming, The Acting Bug’s one year anniversary, Mother’s Day (which was awesome, I must say), getting my Canon EOS 30D kick ass camera, and Crash winning best picture at the academy awards (okay, so I didn’t exactly make that happen, but still), just to name a few. But I was also excited to start a new year and kiss goodbye the old; wisdom teeth, fractured nose, sliced up thumb, West Wing, Everwood and Charmed series finales, heartache, habits, etc, etc. But I missed it. Haha. I missed my chance to say hello and goodbye.
Wow. The things that happened last year: I made so many new and overwhelmingly cool friends who I will always know and love and I kept some fabulous old friends, who I will treasure now and forever. Thank you for being a part of my 2006, and let me know if there are any amazing memories we shared I’ve left off my list. I want to include them all. My year was blessed for longer than it was cursed and that’s all I want to remember of the year past.
I’m looking forward to this year. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Prophecy 2007 (?), My golden birthday, Deathly Hallows (?), and soooo much more. I want you to help me make this year the best year ever. Not a week is going to go by without some really big event happening and you’re invited, I promise. I love you all so deeply it’s not even funny. I have more good friends than anyone deserves and you make my life meaningful and fun.
On another note, I am now taking applications for my first kiss of 2007.
